Since 1960 the monks of the “Abbaye de Bricquebec” are raising pigs to survive. From a small herd of 10 sows to 50 and then to nearly 200 ! Reared in the open air. Thirty years later the great changes in farming are leading the monks to think about adding value to their pigs. Thus was born "La Charcuterie La Trappe" and few years later, the trade mark "Le cochon du Père Marc", this way the “Charcuterie de la Trappe” has always certified products.
Thus Father Marc's pig farming goes on !
