The Cistercian Trappist Abbey of Notre-Dame de Sept-Fons is a monastery whose economy is based on the Moulin de la Trappe, an agro-food factory run entirely by monks. The abbey's flagship product, Germalyne Tradition, a formula made entirely from stabilized wheat germ, was the starting point for the entire range of natural products produced and packaged at the monastery.
