How to use your solid shampoo

Easy to use: (1) wet hair and shampoo, (2) rub shampoo directly onto scalp or between hands, (3) lather on scalp, (4) rinse well, (5) store shampoo in a dry place to make it last longer.

What's the difference with soap?

That's a good question: since it has the same shape and consistency, how is it different? Can't you wash your hair with soap?

The difference lies in the fact that it's designed to wash the scalp rather than the skin.

More precisely, it has a pH (measure of acidity) adapted to that of the hair and scalp, unlike soap. So it won't make them brittle or dry.

It uses surfactants: molecules that bind to greasy substances and impurities, taking them with them when rinsing. Solid shampoos use surfactants that are gentler on the scalp than soaps.
